Taller Comunitario Moriviví

A journey beginning in 2025!

We are extremely happy to share that we just acquired our very own property in San Juan, PR!

​

Taller Comunitario Moriviví (Moriviví Community Workshop) will be a space for workshops and co-creation of community arts and artivism, led by women. This project will address the needs of Puerto Rico's artistic community, specifically art students, emerging artists, and women artists interested in learning how to work alongside communities and produce public, social, and community art.

​​

This project addresses an immediate need for a permanent base of operations so that the Colectivo Moriviví can continue its social work in Puerto Rico long-term. In the past 12 years of hard work, we have faced many challenges and sustainability has been a constant challenge in Puerto Rico's context. We are currently working towards a permanent physical space for our right to remain in our beautiful archipelago and sustain our project for many years to come.

To successfully reach these goals, we are open and very interested in establishing partnerships, as well as identifying and mobilizing resources for Taller Comunitario Moriviví. We have identified the following list of needs so far:

• Funds designated for repairs

• Flexible operational funds

• Construction materials

• Office equipment

• Artist studio equipment

• Solar energy generation equipment

• Rainwater harvesting equipment
